Almost Everyone Has a Digital SLR Camera These Days |

This morning I was up early to take my husband to the airport and I saw the most amazing sun rise on my way home. I've never been an early morning person, so I'll be the first to admit that I don't see many sunrises, but this morning when I saw this one I actually stopped on the side of the road, grabbed my digital SLR camera and started shooting. Back in the film days, I would take my camera with me everywhere, but then for some reason, when I bought my first digital SLR camera, I never took it with me unless I was planning to take pictures. Then finally, one day I realized that I was missing out of a lot of potentially great shots and I decided that from that point on, I'd start taking my digital SLR camera with me everywhere I went. I ordered a camera bag for the digital SLR camera, and when I grab my handbag in the morning, I also grab the digital camera bag. It is amazing the things that we will see if we really start paying more attention to our surroundings.
I actually ordered my current camera about six months ago, this Canon Black 12.2MP Rebel XSi Digital SLR Camera With 3.0" LCD that I found at Electronics 2 Treasure whose online store can be found by visiting www.electronics2treasure.com. I'd wanted to get a new digital SLR camera, and a friend suggested that I check out the Internet. She'd bought her camera online and said that the prices couldn't be beat. I figured even if I didn't end up ordering a digital SLR camera that it would be worth it to check out so I did. I was surprised at the prices of the cameras being so much less expensive than in the local stores.
I've also noticed recently that it seems like everyone has a digital SLR camera with them at all times. Even my husband's new smart phone has an 8mp camera in it and a program to make videos. It's amazing that so many of us love the instant gratification of what a digital SLR camera can give us, and we take full advantage of it. I know I do. I've even had several books printed that I made with photos that I took with my digital camera. Everyone says I have talent and that I should start selling some of my prints. Who knows, maybe I should. |
