slr camera

I love waking to a blanket of freshly fallen snow. In addition to the beauty that I find in the snow, it also means that I can take my SLR camera out into the woods and get some great photos, or at least that's my hope. Saturdays are always my favorite day of the week, especially when my husband isn't working and I know we can spend some time together. I know traipsing off into the woods with me and my SLR camera are not exactly his idea of fun, but he knows how much joy the SLR camera that he gave me brings me, so he always goes along and keeps me company.

I've loved photography for as long as I can remember. Until recently I was using an old SLR camera that my dad gave me, but the price of film and having them developed was getting far too expensive. I'd used my best friends SLR camera in the summer when we traveled through Greece and I fell in love with it. In fact, the only thing on my wish list this past Christmas was a SLR camera. I knew my husband didn't know anything about which SLR camera to buy, but I was hoping that when I opened my gifts on Christmas morning, that I would find a camera under the tree waiting on me. Instead, what I found was a beautiful pair of earrings from my husband, and a small box that couldn't contain an SLR camera because of its size and weight. What it did contain was a piece of paper with a handwritten note from my husband that stated he wanted to get me a camera for Christmas but didn't know what I wanted, so he wanted me to choose the SLR camera that I wanted, as his gift to me. I was THRILLED!!

Even though I didn't want to wait, I waited until all the Christmas festivities had passed and went online to find the SLR camera that I wanted. Within seconds I'd found EVOLT E-520 w/14-42 mm lens. Model - 262086 that I found at Electronics 2 Treasure whose online store can be found by visiting www.electronics2treasure.com and placed my order. It arrived the day before New Year's Eve and I've been taking pictures almost constantly ever since. This morning is going to be no exception. I can't wait to get out in the woods with the snow and see what I can come up with.
