dv camcorder, mini dv camcorderOne of my parent’s biggest regrets was not buying an early DV camcorder or I guess it would have been VHS recorder when my brother and I were growing up. They snapped enough photos to fill twenty thick albums but there is nothing like video. I have yet to buy a mini DV camcorder online but it is on the wish list for 2010. Through high school, my group of friends recorded everything from skating a local park to the street races in an industrial district five towns over. Most of it saved within digital files. Over the years, some of it has been lost but I still have a few old school videos that are so much fun to watch every so often.

You never really know how much you mature until seeing yourself 5 to 10 years younger. The best is watching friends in 10th grade making some stupid video for class because no one has gone through puberty completely yet and our voices were so high. Keeping video record of the past is something I really want to start doing more.
